Has this cold & flu season been a doozie, or what?! Being sick can really put a damper on your plans, your work, your family, and you.

So, we've created this immune-boosting smoothie that will give your body the healthy boost it needs to get healthy – and stay healthy! We truly believe that you-are-what-you-eat, so feeding a sick body the appropriate healthy foods is really important, (especially if you're trying to heal!). And, if you aren't sick, then let's stay that way! Rotate these delicious Cuties® into your diet to boost your immune system all the time!

This recipe contains a healthy dose of Vitamin C, thanks to Cuties® Clementines. Vitamin C may help to decrease the duration and symptoms of a cold. We chose these fantastic fruits because Cuties® is a company that we've fallen in love with.

Cuties® Clementines are grown by a family of farmers in California, known as Sun Pacific, which began growing their clementines in 1969. All Cuties® Clementines are non-gmo, plus they're easy to peel and easy to eat, which the perfect natural snack for kids and adults. Seriously, we here at Farm Star Living can't eat just one – it's always two or more!

For an extra upgrade of Vitamin C and Potassium, we also included Mighties™ Kiwis into this recipe. Did you know that kiwis actually provide more Vitamin C than an orange, and more Potassium than a banana? Next time you're feeling a sickness coming on, reach for these clementines and kiwis! We also included banana, ginger, turmeric, and honey. This recipe really is an immune system booster!

This smoothie recipe is really easy and you can make this for breakfast, enjoy it as a snack, or add some protein powder and use it as a meal replacement. Now, let's get to blending!

TIP: If you want to remove the skin of the ginger root, use the edge of a spoon to scrape it off. This way you won't waste any of the ginger root by cutting it away, and you'll save your fingers, too!
