When you visit our facility, you will learn about the crops, people, and farming practices that have made the Central Coast of California what it is today. We have artifacts and exhibits to reflect the following industries: beef and dairy cattle, chickens, goats and other farm animals; fruits, vegetables, flowers, mushrooms and other unique crops. From potatoes and wheat to lettuce and strawberries, the Central Coast has supplied the worlds tables for over 150 years!

Come take a 30-minute beautiful hayride around this gorgeous farm and countryside. Enjoy the scenery as you ride not only through this garden, orchard, and fruit and vegetable farm, but around the town as well. When you return, a bonfire will be waiting to greet you after a fun trip around the surrounding countryside!

Wander past crop fields and cow pastures at the country’s oldest continuously operating farm, Appleton Farm! This farm has been in the Appleton faimly for nine generations, and they continue to provide a fun farm experince each and every day. Head out past their Farm store and through the farm fields toward the barns to say hello to the friendly Jersey cows, goats, sheep, and chickens. Ever wanted to see the cow-milking process? Stop by the milking barn and observe the afternoon milking at 4PM each day. Appleton Farm is well known for their cooking classes, events, workshops, and more. They even have a cooking class on Valentine's Day that is sure to make for a romantic evening.

Arbor Day farm is located on 260 acres of land with much to offer. Truly Living Well Urban Agricultural Center is a beautiful facility dedicated to growing healthy non-GMO and chemical-free food important to sustaining a healthy local food system. Our 10 acres of urban farms produce more than 35,000 pounds of food, employ 35 people and enable children and adults to learn horticultural literacy and urban farming.

Wickham's fruit is grown on some of the oldest continually cultivated land in the country, much of the farm dating from 1661. Wickham's Fruit Farm is an historic, bicentennial farm, beautiful to behold against the sparkling waters of Peconic Bay. It is one of the largest farms on the North Fork, approximately 300 acres, of which 200 acres are in fruit, all of which is retailed at the farm. The emphasis is on fruit of the highest quality, and all fruit sold is guaranteed. A very large proportion of Wickham farm land has been placed in Suffolk County's Farmland Preservation program, which means that for generations to come, this land is "forever agriculture."

Wolfe's Neck Farm is a nonprofit organization in Freeport, Maine dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture, education, and outdoor recreation while preserving its 626 acres of open space and historic buildings. This working saltwater farm includes hundreds of acres of forest, saltwater marsh, pasture lands, over four miles of Casco Bay coastline and an award-winning oceanfront campground. Wolfe's Neck Farm offers programs including a Summer Day Camp, Teen Ag Program, and othercommunity events to educate both children and adults about sustainable agriculture and connect them to the natural world. Open free to the public year-round, the Farm encourages visitors to explore its miles of hiking trails, meet the animals in the barn, explore the organic gardens, picnic along the shoreline and enjoy the open space.
