Saltwood is located inside the Loews Atlanta Hotel, and it is Midtown’s newest small-plate-style restaurant. This Southern spot aims to be “a more casual, neighborhood option” with a focus on charcuterie, which is a culinary specialty that originally referred to the creation of pork products such as salami, sausages, and prosciutto. It serves three meals a day, plus weekend brunch, and feature small plates made with local ingredients. At the bar, Saltwood serves SweetWater, Second Self, Wild Heaven, and Terrapin. All the wines are domestic, including a few from North Georgia. Craft cocktails are focused on moonshine and include the Oh My Darlin’ (Bear Creek apple pie moonshine, ginger ale, and cantaloupe) and To Confessional (Bulleit rye, Benedictine, fresh lemon, and lime).
