Named for characters in Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", chef/owner Ford Fry's King + Duke is making its mark on the Buckhead culinary with innovative, seasonal fare prepared the traditional way. With a 24-foot open hearth, diners can watch Executive Chef Joe Schafer and crew make the magic happen. A new Chef’s Counter gives a front-row seat view of the prep and a five-course tasting menu. Choices you might not see on many other menus: charred octopus salad, roasted bone marrow or a Mississippi rabbit with liver toast. Delectable! There are plenty of other ways to go, such as "The King", a dry-aged, bone-in ribeye and a garden’s worth of vegetables. The menu changes often depending on seasonal availabilities and the chef's inclination. Take a tip - don't pass on the bread pudding!
