Atlanta Les Dames d'Escoffier International is hosting its 15th Annual Afternoon in the Country! Chefs from Atlanta’s top restaurants, paired with the area’s best farms will be set up in a tasting format alongside fine wines and premium micro-brews--all under festive big-top tents in the beautiful gardens surrounding The Inn at Serenbe near Palmetto.

Afternoon in the Country is known as one of Atlanta’s most unforgettable food and wine tasting events! AITC is a fund-raiser for local non-profits and scholarships for women and is very dedicated to creating a supportive culture in the community, fostering excellence and promoting the achievement of women in hospitality professions through educational and charitable activities. Proceeds from Afternoon in the Country benefit Georgia Organics, Wholesome Wave. Global Growers Network, The Giving Kitchen, The Wylde Center, The Atlanta Community Food Bank and Atlanta Les Dames d’Escoffier International’s scholarship fund for women in the culinary, beverage and hospitality arts!
15th Annual Afternoon in the Country
WHEN?: Sunday, November 8, 2015 1pm to 4pm.

Other highlights include live music, a one-of-a-kind cake raffle featuring sweets from Atlanta's top pastry chefs, hayrides, children's activities and an expansive silent auction offering exclusive dining and travel packages, food and wine merchandise and original art by prominent local artists.
They have two VIP Afternoon in the Country Weekend Experience packages available this year:
- VIP Afternoon in the Country Weekend Package for Two includes Saturday and Sunday overnight stay at Serenbe on November 7th and 8th, Serenbe guided walkabout tour, Lunch at The Hil, Atlanta Dames Cooking Demo at the Bosch Experience Center, Dinner at the Farmhouse, Special VIP discounts and goodies from Serenbe retailers, Continental Breakfast, Wine at lunch and dinner and early entry to Afternoon in the Country. This package is $1,500 per couple and includes an Afternoon in the Country sponsorship listing. **There are only 10 of these packages available.
- VIP Afternoon in the Country Package for Two includes Serenbe guided walkabout tour, Lunch at The Hil with wine, and Atlanta Dames Cooking Demo at the Bosch Experience Center on Saturday, November 7th, Special VIP discounts and goodies from Serenbe retailers, and early entry to Afternoon in the Country on Sunday, November 8th. This package is $800 per couple and includes an Afternoon in the Country sponsorship listing. **There are only 40 of these packages available.
