It's festival season and live concerts are not only coming to a city near you, but to a nearby farm! That's right! What better way to enjoy a summer evening than by listening to great live music under the stars and away from the lights?!
This month, we thought our Farm Fun feature should entail music, so we've found seven farms offering concert series for the summer, and we hope that one is nearby and convenient to you! If you do go, I hope you'll let us know about it. You're welcome to post your pictures on our Facebook page, or Instagram and/or tweet them to us @farmstarliving!
Also, if your favorite farm is hosting a concert, let us know! Email us: [email protected], and we'll spread the word!
The Farm is a brand new event venue located on a family farm right outside Selma, NC, in Johnston County, which is convenient to Raleigh, Smithfield, Benson, Goldsboro and Wilson. Their rural, scenic concert space features a brand new stage and outdoor concert area that is perfect for enjoying live music. Their acoustics are great, and their location, surrounded by fields and farmland, provides a charming atmosphere.
They have several shows throughout the summer from beach music, to country, and everything in between. Every show they host will feature a variety of food and drink vendors, and some concerts will have a non-profit group on-site selling alcohol, while others may be BYOB.
