Join Farm Aid staff, family and friends at Luscombe Family Farm on Saturday, October 25! Farm Star Living is a proud media sponsor of the event and we hope you will consider attending!

An Evening With Farm Aid is the event series dedicated to an intimate celebration of local family farm food, incredible music and community. Seats are limited to 150 guests. So order your tickets now!

Farm Aid will celebrate the region's family farmers with a cocktail reception followed by dinner in the field, and live music in the barn afterward. Chef Robert Lyford will craft a seasonal, ingredient-driven menu that utilizes the best of what North Texas family farms have to offer. You will meet the family farmers we source from at the event that evening!

HoneyHoney is providing the evening's entertainment. An American singer-songwriter duo evoking California's hippie Dust Bowl fringe, equal parts Okie squalor and Pacific shimmer, there is a strong pull of Woody Guthrie-esque folk, vintage Buffalo Springfield, glints of Gram Parsons and bits of Bonnie Raitt's early blues, Rickie Lee Jones reality and Bakersfield Saturday nights. Not country, not folk, not rock, it is a hybrid that defies exact definition. With fiddles threading the melodies, big acoustic guitar sounds and banjos plinking as percussively as melodically, there is an old world feel to HoneyHoney that is as fresh and right now as it is tube radios and old lace.

The Los Angeles duo of Suzanne Santo (vocals, banjo, violin), left, and Ben Jaffe (vocals, guitar) are HoneyHoney.

Contact Kari Williams kari@farmaid.org, Farm Aid's development director, with any questions regarding the event. Buy your tickets today!

All proceeds benefit Farm Aid’s 2014 grant program, providing farmers the tools and resources they need to access new institutional and buyers' markets, creates innovative programs that build local and regional food systems, promotes fair farm policies and stands with farmers in times of crisis.
