With Valentines Day right around the corner, let’s get intimate and talk about natural aphrodisiacs! Aphrodisiacs are a substance that, when consumed, increase our sexual desires. Fitting for Valentines Day, right? Right!

This recipe is packed full of natural aphrodisiacs like cinnamon, honey, pistachios, and chocolate. Plus it has a lot of other great ingredients that you can feel good about. Did you know that pistachios are a great source of antioxidants to give you energy and keep you feelin’ good? They also increase the production of sex hormones. You can read more about pistachios and their health benefits in our A-Z Guide.

Rawmantic Vegan Pistachio Cookies:

  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbs unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger powder
  • 2 - 21/2 raw honey
In your blender pulse the coconut flakes until they are creamy and add the pistachios. Raw pistachios are difficult to find, so a good alternative would be roasted unsalted pistachios.

Blend the pistachios and coconut until a flour is formed.

Now add the rest of the ingredients and mix it all together. Cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger increase blood circulation and body temperature. Honey is a good source of Vitamin B, which increases testosterone production…ya hear that, guys?

I talked about the benefits of chocolate in my Chocolate Smoothie blog post. Cacao also contains some of the same chemicals that are released in our brain when we are in love AND contains cancer-fighting antioxidants! Top your cookies with the chocolate love sauce and let them chill out in the fridge until the chocolate has hardened. I topped mine with some chopped coconut flakes and pistachio pieces for more texture.

Once the chocolate has hardened pop out of your molds and into your mouth!
