When you visit our facility, you will learn about the crops, people, and farming practices that have made the Central Coast of California what it is today. We have artifacts and exhibits to reflect the following industries: beef and dairy cattle, chickens, goats and other farm animals; fruits, vegetables, flowers, mushrooms and other unique crops. From potatoes and wheat to lettuce and strawberries, the Central Coast has supplied the worlds tables for over 150 years!

Angelic Organics is more than just a farm, it is a place that provides hands on learning in sustainable growing and living. With their On-Farm initiative, they offer hands on experience on a real working farm. Some of the many learning opportunities that they offer are farm tours, skills workshops and custom learning opportunities for individuals, families, schools and community groups. Here are some of the examples of workshops they offer at Angelic Organics: beekeeping, composting, cheesemaking, a variety of summer day camps for kids and many more.

Wander past crop fields and cow pastures at the country’s oldest continuously operating farm, Appleton Farm! This farm has been in the Appleton faimly for nine generations, and they continue to provide a fun farm experince each and every day. Head out past their Farm store and through the farm fields toward the barns to say hello to the friendly Jersey cows, goats, sheep, and chickens. Ever wanted to see the cow-milking process? Stop by the milking barn and observe the afternoon milking at 4PM each day. Appleton Farm is well known for their cooking classes, events, workshops, and more. They even have a cooking class on Valentine's Day that is sure to make for a romantic evening.

A center for sustainable food and agriculture, Arcadia offers farm camps, farm visits, a mobile market and a food hub. It offers a place of learning and providing the community with locally grown food!

As a family owned nursery and urban farm, Atlanta Harvest is committed to providing their customers with the best quality products. They only use organic materials; materials that has been given naturally to the earth and those who take part in the earth’s cycle. The goal has always been simple; to grow and provide the city with high-quality, farm fresh produce while creating opportunities for economic development in distressed areas of the city.

Battleview Orchards is a family owned and operated farm. The farm allows the public the opportunity to pick a wide variety of items including their very own New Jersey Strawberries, Sour Cherries, New Jersey Peaches, Nectarines, New Jersey Apples, and Pumpkins. Enjoy an easy breezy day picking flowers and berries at Berry and Bloom Farm. This beautiful farm in Minnesota is the perfect way to slow down and enjoy the simpler things in life. They also offer workshops so keep an eye out for their list of upcoming workshops like how to create your own flower arrangement or bouquet! And if you're looking for the perfect spot for a gorgeous photo opportunity, Berry and Bloom Farm allows photo sessions by appointment. 

Berry Fields Farm is a diversified, integrated, organic, and therefore sustainable small family working farm in Northeastern PA. We have chosen this location for its unspoiled beauty and invite visitors to come to the farm and stay in the guest houses, eat a meal in the dining room, or shop in the farm store. We produce most of our own food including meats, fruits and vegetables, and share the abundance with our guests. Guests are encouraged to participate in farm chores and get a true farm experience.

Their 10-acre teaching farm on the 40-acre eco-campus is located in the historic Black farming community of Pembroke Township, Illinois. The residents of Pembroke Township are stewards of the Kankakee Sands, one of the most prized ecosystems in Illinois and home to the endangered dwarfed black oaks. We are honored to carry forward this tradition of stewardship, which dates back to the people indigenous to this land, the Potawatomi. 100% of their energy comes from solar power (with a generator on cloudy days, for an interim time), and their water comes from a well. All buildings were built by the community, with a minimal carbon footprint.

Nestled in the Rockies, in what the locals call "Rural Boulder", this is a small family farm loaded with lots of love and fun! Come visit their farm store to get your locally grown organic vegetables, meat, honey and goodies. They also offer exciting and fun cooking classes like Jam Making or you can sign your kids up for the summer farm camp where they get to learn while playing in the dirt and get to appreciate where their food comes from!

This educational homestead is a unique experience like no other! D Acres is committed to organic farming, living sustainably, improving human beings’ relationship with the environment, and educating others on how to do the same. While they do have bedrooms to accommodate you, you can also choose to camp in a tent on property or set up on the floor of the yoga room in a sleeping bag. All meals are organic and sourced straight from the farm!

Located in Northern Durham, Grass Grazed Farm is the 60 acre farmstead of Derrick and Paige Jackson. They raise pastured livestock based on principles of sustainable agriculture on our farm and on additional leased acreage nearby. They believe in being good stewards of our land while providing our customers (and their own family) with healthy, wholesome, delicious meat. The Jackson's started the farm in 2019 when Derrick was looking for a career change from the U.S Army. They started with chickens haven't looked back since.

Green Door Gourmet is a 350 acre certified organic farm, country store, and event venue in Nashville TN. Nestled along the Cumberland River in West Nashville, our farm fresh company is less than 10 miles from down town and the Music City Center! We grow a wide variety of fruits, flowers, vegetables and herbs using organic, holistic methods. Through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program and our on-farm store, we provide our customers, including local restaurants and florists, with the absolute best direct-from-the-field produce. A beautiful gem buried in the Santa Cruz Mountains, in California, that's home to a nonprofit educational organization. They host this program on their organic farm and their 1600 acres of wilderness to teach other people about living with environment sustainable and social justice. They offer programs throughout the year and open their arms to anyone who's willing to learn!

This farm grows hops for its own brewery right on the farm! The rest of the ingredients they use in their beer are grown by local farmers, because Hopshire believes in the importance of using local ingredients. On a visit to the brewery you can taste some of their delicious brews after watching a demonstration of the brewing process.

Well then take a trip to Hungry Bear Farms for a Open Hive Days or if you want a little more hands on experience with the bees then you can sign up for beginner or advanced bee keeping classes! Don't forget to grab some of their amazing raw honey products and fresh farm goodies!

Tucked away in Northeast Georgia, this farm is perfect for a fun getaway! They offer strawberry fields trips and even a strawberry festival in the month of May. They have events and activities every season too, from corn mazes, family fun days and more! Be sure to visit their roadside store where they sell a variety of their fresh produce year-round!

The Jones Family has been on their 400-acre farm for six generations. This has been a destination for families to come and treasure the Christmas season. They can enjoy the beautiful hillsides while picking out the perfect Christmas tree, and they also host cooking classes that teach you how to transform the seasonal harvest. They conduct these classes in their farmhouse kitchen, where you get to create healthy, nourishing meals with ingredients from the farm. At the end of the class, everyone sits down to enjoy the meal they made together. Jones Family Farms even have their own winery, and you can come indulge in some of their tasty wines made with their own grapes.

On a small farm just 90 miles north of New York City, the Kelder family had the vision to turn their portion of the beautiful Rondout Valley land into something everyone could enjoy. What started as a dairy farm and a few rows of strawberries, with an old homemade sign, quickly turned into a seasonal attraction that families from miles around visit year after year. In the last 100 years, their family has farmed chickens, pigs and dairy cattle. Today, their family has opened their fence-gates to the community, offering pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries and pumpkins. This small start grew into the Rondout Valley's largest U-Pick farm, with over 100 acres of seasonal crops, an educational program for thousands of school children every year, and a popular agri-tourism destination!

Meyer Farms has become a household brand known for quality, fresh, organic food. Nestled in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Meyer Farms has a farmstand that is open seasonally, and a CSA program.  They have been an organic herb farm for over 25 years, originally operating as The Herbal Garden. In 2013, they added vegetables to the things they grow, and are USDA certified organic for all their herbs and vegetables. They sell their products primarily from their farm stand, right on our farm property. Mountain Hollow Farm is a cashmere goat farm nestled in the mountains of northeast Tennessee, about 1 hour north of Knoxville. In addition to cashmere goats, we also have angora rabbits, sheep, llamas, horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks & guineas. Our unique country store features yarn, fine handcrafts, loose leaf tea, Raven's Brew coffee, gourmet food mixes & goat’s milk soap. Have you ever been interested in getting hands on with honeybees? Well, Round Rock Honey has it's very own Beekeeping School! Here, you can work with the owner, Konrad Bouffard, where you get to suit up and work with him and his team hands on with the bees organically. He offers these classes year-round in 3 states: Texas (Round Rock, Dallas and Houston), as well as California (San Francisco and Redwood City), and Madison, WI.

Located on the luscious seashore on the coast of Maine, Salt Water Farm offers classes at their very own cooking school! They teach you the fundamentals in the kitchen on making homemade meals, while harvesting straight from their gardens and foraging in the wild. At the end of every class, you get to try all the creations you have made at a communal farmhouse table, where you will enjoy delicious food and friends. Shelburne Farms is not just an exciting place to visit but an educational center that promotes teaching about a sustainable future. Here you can take a tour, stay or dine at their inn, enjoy a stroll on their walking trails, let the children play in the farm yard and even take classes! Then take a class with Jacqueline Freeman, at her biodynamic farm in Washington and truly learn the spirit of the bee. Here you will learn the value the bees have on us and our environment and can take classes that are just lecture and knowledge based, hands on with the hives, even tasting classes with over 30 honey?s from around the world and many more! This place is all about earth, bees and knowledge and is a place where you can come to find peace.

Springdale Farm and Market is known for their fresh fruit. With that being said, their bakery is a must visit when you go to the farm. They are famous their home baked pies, freshly baked breads, muffins, cakes, cookies and more. YUM! Springdale Farm also features a super fun corn maze which is great for families, scouts, youth groups, birthday parties, and whoever is ready for a challenge. To spice it up even more, visit the corn maze Friday evenings to enjoy Flashlight Fridays. Enjoy corn mazes in a whole new way and don't forget, bring your flashlight! 

As a growing agritourism enterprise, Stillwaters Farm is first and foremost a “farm stay”, boasting the beautiful Cottage, located at the leading edge of the farm. Stone Hill Honey is owned and operated by Paul and Betsy Stone, who currently manage over 120 hives. Tours of the bee farm are offered by appointment only during the spring, summer, and fall months with emphasis on education and history of the honey bee. It also includes hands on seasonal honey extraction, candle making, working with bees and observing a glassed in working hives. Stone Hill Honey offers hay rides around the farm, and now has a small petting zoo with two very friendly pygmy goats and a Great Pyrenees dog.

Terhune Orchards is a one of kind farm! Join in on the fun with their Pick Your Own feature including apples, berries, flowers and pumpkins. They also have many different festivals they offer year round such as their Just Peachy Festival and Firefly Festival and even a Kite Festival. The Harriet Tubman Freedom Farm is rooted in the values of nourishment, freedom, and reciprocity. Healing Black Southerners relationship to land in the South through agriculture and education, the farm is a space for community. The lives of plants, animals, and people matter here. Practicing reciprocity for the land and the community is their attempt to grow toward sovereignty. The Harriet Tubman Freedom Farm visions a just society where people have access to what they need to live as they see fit. A people who can feed themselves, are a people who can lead themselves. Tomten Farm is a high altitude, off-grid, permaculture based demonstration and education farm at 9000' elevation between Ridgway and Telluride, Colorado. We offer farm tours to a wide variety of kid groups and can offer personalized tours upon request for a modest fee. We grow year round in our 33' diameter Growing Spaces Grow Dome and a 1500 sq.ft. self-designed and built greenhouse and outside from May into October (weather permitting). We are solar and wind powered and can show you the basics of growing in a very challenging, but incredibly beautiful environment. Fees for tours vary with the potential for taking home farm fresh produce too!

Truly Living Well Urban Agricultural Center is a beautiful facility dedicated to growing healthy non-GMO and chemical-free food important to sustaining a healthy local food system. Our 10 acres of urban farms produce more than 35,000 pounds of food, employ 35 people and enable children and adults to learn horticultural literacy and urban farming.

The market is run by the Athens Land Trust and is run throughout the year on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings. The market features fresh produce, local honey, handmade soaps, delicious baked goods, cooked food, and more! The children activities will feature garden tours of our naturally-grown garden, art & craft activities, team building games and the West Broad Farmers Market Next Top Chef Competition! Parents join us for our weekly sustainable gardening workshop, Yoga in the garden, A farm fresh cooking demonstration, health screenings and a health workshop. The market is every Saturday from 10 AM- 2 PM and every Tuesday from 4 PM- 7 PM at 1573 West Broad Street.

Wickham's fruit is grown on some of the oldest continually cultivated land in the country, much of the farm dating from 1661. Wickham's Fruit Farm is an historic, bicentennial farm, beautiful to behold against the sparkling waters of Peconic Bay. It is one of the largest farms on the North Fork, approximately 300 acres, of which 200 acres are in fruit, all of which is retailed at the farm. The emphasis is on fruit of the highest quality, and all fruit sold is guaranteed. A very large proportion of Wickham farm land has been placed in Suffolk County's Farmland Preservation program, which means that for generations to come, this land is "forever agriculture."
