It's full of fun and educational experiences for the whole family, from farm tours where you can soak in picturesque scenes of cattle-filled pastures, to the opportunity to feed the milk cows yourself while you're on a narrated hayride. And if you time your visit right, you might even get to pet baby animals like calves and kids!

Cartermere Farms 8436 County Road 134 Celina, TX 75009 (214) 707-8029 Cartermere Farms is a family owned, family operated organic farm near Celina, Texas. The 300-acre farm currently has 5 acres in vegetable production, with 48,000 sqft. under high tunnels. In addition, the farm maintains approximately 250 laying chickens, 18 bee hives, and 100 sheep. Production includes all North Texas viable crops; including tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, potatoes, onions, leafy greens, root crops, peas & beans, squash, okra, melons, cucumbers and various herbs. Additionally, the farm also harvests native and wild fruits and nuts on the property. Animal products include; corn-free, soy-free, non-GMO organic eggs, grass-fed lamb and unfiltered raw organic honey. Cartermere Farms is dedicated to the production of truly natural products, utilizing no pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers or any other non-organic crop management practices. Additionally, they exclude unnatural medications, antibiotics and GMO-inclusive feeds in their livestock. The farm prides itself on being open and transparent with their customers, recognizing they have been entrusted to produce quality foods for local families and restaurants. As such, they make every effort to provide as much information as possible on each of their products, their practices and farming methods. We currently sell to restaurants and the community can order from our weekly availability on our site from Wednesday-Friday at noon and then pick up at the farm from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday.

We raise Angus cattle and Springer Mountain Farms chicken. We also grow Russell Bermuda top quality horse hay.

Located in Northern Durham, Grass Grazed Farm is the 60 acre farmstead of Derrick and Paige Jackson. They raise pastured livestock based on principles of sustainable agriculture on our farm and on additional leased acreage nearby. They believe in being good stewards of our land while providing our customers (and their own family) with healthy, wholesome, delicious meat. The Jackson's started the farm in 2019 when Derrick was looking for a career change from the U.S Army. They started with chickens haven't looked back since.

Here at Greenway Farms they offer an educational tour for all their visitors that demonstrates the importance of sustainable farming. Nothings better than gaining knowledge and having a little farm fun while you do it! You learn all about how to grow food and farming the right way! You can take a look at the animals and even get up and personal with honey bees and worms!

This biodynamic farm offers an interactive tour for you to learn about how people, plants, the land, and animals interact and what their roles are in agriculture. Learn about what biodynamic agriculture means, and how important sustainable farm practices are.

Looking for some educational farm fun? You've found it! At Morning Glory Farm they offer farm field trips, camps, birthday parties, play dates and more! The play dates are incredibly popular, so you should plan your day well in advance and RSVP while you still can. They're designed for all ages and include farm tours, trips to the ever-popular Art Barn where you'll get to do watercolors, and introductions and snuggle time with all of the farm animals! Farmer Sue runs it all, and this spectacular lady knows how to give you and your kids a good time at the farm you won't soon forget!

Muse 3 Farm is your destination for organic animals, vegetables and manure. Our cattle, lamb, and goats are grass-fed and our chicken and turkeys are free range. Our animals graze on over 100 acres of pristine farmland. Muse 3 Farm will soon be available for educational tours of our farm. Our beautiful scenery is also the perfect location for those of you looking for rustic, natural backdrops for photoshoots. Pond Hill Farm is a family owned farm that offers a great farm experience to families. While here, you can meet and feed the animals (including fish!), have a delicious farm-fresh meal at their Garden Cafe, and taste the wine from their own vineyard. Come visit this farm in the summer or fall to have a wonderful time!

Come out and visit Prairieland Farm, they'll show you how they get milk from farm to table. Tours are scheduled in advance, by appointment only and hosted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9am and 11am. Their mission is to create a new kind of dairy: one that is sustainable, open and transparent; one that served people, cows and the planet.

Tomten Farm is a high altitude, off-grid, permaculture based demonstration and education farm at 9000' elevation between Ridgway and Telluride, Colorado. We offer farm tours to a wide variety of kid groups and can offer personalized tours upon request for a modest fee. We grow year round in our 33' diameter Growing Spaces Grow Dome and a 1500 sq.ft. self-designed and built greenhouse and outside from May into October (weather permitting). We are solar and wind powered and can show you the basics of growing in a very challenging, but incredibly beautiful environment. Fees for tours vary with the potential for taking home farm fresh produce too!
