Chef Ford Fry brought his Southern Farmstead Cooking to the Westside Urban Market with JCT Kitchen and Bar in 2007, helping solidify the once industrial neighborhood as a destination for diners looking for a fun, hip space with approachable food. Although the menu changes daily depending on the season and what’s available to Chef from their farm suppliers, venerable standouts include brined fried chicken, garlicky shrimp and grits, and truffle parmesan fries. His Meat ‘n Three Sunday Suppers are a nod to the traditions of his childhood. The Bar is upstairs, has its own menu of fine food and live music. A fun time and amazing food!
